An excellent clump forming perennial with slender, strappy, grass-like foliage. Growing into sizeable clumps around 30cm across and around 40cm tall. From early Spring through until Autumn, the foliage is topped by clusters of three-petaled bright purple flowers. Each flower lasts only a day, but is replaced with new ones so that the plant is rarely out of bloom. Very tough and easy to grow in full sun to part shade. Drought tolerant.
