Pennisetum setaceum rubrum, or Purple Fountain grass, is an attractive, warm climate growing grass with lovely soft, flowing, purple tinted foliage. From early Summer masses of rich purple coloured flower plumes are displayed above the clump  to around 1m high. Tough, drought tolerant and fast growing.
