Lepechinia salviae

A strong favourite in the gardens of the Nursery. Large, aromatic, grey-green, spear-shaped foliage grows eventually into a strong mound around 100cm wide and tall. In Summer, multiple flower spikes emerge above the leaves and reach around 150cm tall. The clusters of flowers are an interesting grape-purple colour. It looks great growing with grasses and other perennials. Its tough, drought-tolerant; thrives here in its coastal location, and gets better every year.
