Eryngium planum is a great Sea Holly for gardens as it produces both attractive clump forming mounds and an abundance of steely-blue thistle like flowers throughout late Spring and Summer. Drought tolerant and easy to maintain. The masses of flowers float above the foliage to around 90cm tall.
