Echinacea purpurea was once the old fashioned cottage garden plant. Now used in some of the great modern perennial planting schemes it can again be appreciated. Long flowering, drought tolerant, attractive seed heads and providing good vertical height, this plant is a great addition to gardens. Height 140cm. Great contrast against Perovskia and Calamagrostis.
